Ella Boyd-Wong is a San Francisco-born, Chicago-based script writer and arts administrator.

Her upcoming script presentations will be with Adams Theatre Company's "New Year, New Works" Play Festival, where a staged reading of "the PINK room" will be performed by local actors and directed by
Helena Scholz-Carlson. Ella's involvement in the independent theatre community includes creative education with Second City Training Center and The Chicago Dramatists Guild.

Ella supports Chicago's creative community as a company member with Sandbox Theatre Collective and
Lazy Susan Theatre Co, and as front-of-house staff with Theater Wit.
Her journey aims to promote overlooked artists, boost public appreciation for indie performing arts,
and foster personal connections/collaborations that challenge outdated and over-competitive
theatre community dynamics.

Ella received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English & Creative Writing from the University of Iowa (class of 2020), and is currently working towards her Master of Science degree in Performing Arts Leadership & Management
from Shenandoah University (Class of 2027).
In her free time, she enjoys power yoga, procrastination as progress, and shopping secondhand.
